You can call Blackberry Smoke’s music southern rock and you wouldn’t be wrong. Or you could call it country and you wouldn’t be wrong, either. But you would be selling both the band and its legion of fans short. With influences that run the gamut from country to bluegrass to gospel and yes, southern rock, Blackberry Smoke is more than the sum of its diverse parts.

The Diversity Festival is canceled. However, the bands scheduled to play The Black Cadillacs, Plain Clothes Tracy, and Jay Clark will still play in the Pedestrian Walkway tonight.

90.3 The Rock welcomes German week sponsored by the UT Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures October 10-14th! "Do Deutsch!" is the title of this year's German Week. German week is an entire week of all things German, that includes films, games and competitions all centered on the theme "Germany in Your Life."
