UT students can't avoid it.  America can't avoid it. The future is approaching faster than ever - so let's build ours for the people, planet and prosperity!

This Friday at Pedestrian Mall, UT Recycling and the Office of Sustainability are partnering with "Up to UTK" to raise - Fort Box.

Fort Box will serve as a visual representation of the increasing national debt and break the record for the largest fort ever constructed out of cardboard boxes.

Over the last four weeks, UT Recycling has set aside 5000 boxes, a fraction of their monthly campus collection, to build Fort Box.

Join us on Friday and find out how playing with boxes can help build a sustainable future for the University of Tennessee... box by box.  For more information on Fort Box, go to RecycleMania.utk.edu.

90.3 The Rock will be broadcasting live Friday 2/21/2014 from outside Fort Box at Pedestrian Mall from 11am to 2pm with music and prizes!

You could win a pair of tickets to see The Preservation Hall Jazz Band at The Bijou Theatre www.knoxbijou.com Sunday March 23rd! at 7pm. preservationhall.com/
